Worked as a creative technologist for Dropp Ltd, a digital agency based in the heart of Bristol. As a highly motivated, driven and confident individual I was given the opportunity to pitch for new business, writing in depth proposals, which addressed business issues, outlined timelines and provided a breakdown of costs. I was also responsible for writing and presenting multiple presentations to existing clients, which were much more focused on achieving specific goals such as increasing conversion rates or improving usability.
As a web designer I project managed various projects including a rebrand of a high-end swimwear retailer, creating an online presence for a PGA golfer and a national campaign spearheaded by Jeremy Paxman. Throughout the duration of these projects I was responsible for all of the visual design, usability testing, front-end development and client communication. Developing various projects often entailed using modern technologies such as XHTML, CSS, PHP and jQuery.
Through being exposed to multiple projects I also gained experience in working with various platforms such as Enstore and Wordpress, which were utilised as, content management systems or e-commerce platforms.
Working as a freelance web design & developer has meant I have been exposed to various web, interface and print based projects including an online portfolio for a post graduate product designer, designing mobile applications and creating printed literature for Reiss.
As a freelancer I am responsible for the entire project lifecycle from creation, deployment and maintenance. The lifecycle of each project will include creating prototypes, mockups and final designs, conducting usability tests and utilising various programming languages to build the website itself.
Working as a sales assistant for a highly driven and aspirational brand allowed me to communicate with clients effectively whilst delivering a superior customer service.
